NIC COOPER

It all began three decades ago in 1995 when my parents opened up a guesthouse in our family home. From that day on, my life was filled with tourism, travel stories, and countless adventures in the local countryside.

Over the following years, I have travelled, lived and worked around the world in 75+ countries, learning many lessons about the good, the bad, and the ugly of the tourism industry.

Starting an eco-adventure tour business on the Mornington Peninsula in 2020, I wanted the business to be part of the solution, rather than the problem so Wild Adventures Melbourne (WAM) has been built to have a positive environmental and social impact in all aspects of operations soon becoming one of the leading responsible tourism operators in Australia.

Every day WAM tries to make a difference, no matter how small and my daughter is my daily wake-up call (quite literally!) to make a difference on people and planet for the next generation.

I have built the lived experience, knowledge and expertise and proven track record to help and support others in the industry to achieve their impact goals and be successful.
